Editorial tool, not admissions consultancy. Scaffolding is a software product that critiques college applications. We are not an admissions consultancy. We do not predict admissions outcomes and do not guarantee any specific result. Past performance of any reader, agent, or student is not indicative of future outcomes.
No affiliation with any college or university. Scaffolding is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with any college or university referenced in the product. School names, logos, and program details are used solely to identify which application a student is working on.
AI-generated content notice. Our agents are large language models from Anthropic and OpenAI. They occasionally produce inaccurate, outdated, or fabricated information. Always verify school-specific facts (deadlines, word limits, program requirements) directly with the school's admissions office before acting on any advice. Where Scaffolding asserts a school-specific claim, the claim is sourced against an in-date entry in our claims registry; see /trust/postmortems for incidents where we got it wrong.
Privacy. Scaffolding does not sell user data and does not show targeted advertising. Users under 18 receive additional protections consistent with California SB-1177, Illinois SOPPA, Texas SB-820, and New York Education Law §2-d. Full privacy policy at /trust/privacy.
Accessibility. This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Report accessibility issues to support@scaffolding.app.
Voice Covenant.Scaffolding's revision flow is designed so the agents ask questions rather than write prose for the student. Pass holders may opt into prose suggestions in the V1.5 release; the AI-Percentage Meter (Story 5.10) tracks how much of a final essay is the student's own writing.
